5First Stage Review + Second Stage

First Stage:
I have downloaded a copy of YourSafetynet Home, and found it very easy to install. It downloaded quickly, and installed without any problems on a Windows 7 machine. I have only briefly explored the features and options of this internet protection software, and it seems very comprehensive. It is well designed from the layout point of view, and appears very intuitive with regard to setup and operation. It will of course take some time to test it with regard to it's protection features, but I look forward to seeing what it can do, and how much interference it might present to normal applications, if any, as a result of the various protection features being turned on. Some time later I expect to be able to write a further review about YourSafetynet Home after seeing how it performs over time, preventing the internet threats for which it was designed. If it does half of what it is designed to protect against, it will be well worth the very low price.
Second Stage:
I have now had YourSafetynet, installed since October, and have had time to experience it's features and functioning. There's no question, that this protection software works well and provides the safety for inexperienced users that it was designed to give. Since I don't have young people in the house on a regular basis, I have had to simulated the use, by setting various parameters and filters, and then testing them by trying to access sites that should be stopped. It never failed in any tests so far to stop the type of site from being accessed. It causes no detectable slow down in operation, and access of allowed sites, and in all the categories tested so far, immediately displayed a page that indicated the site was blocked. I recommend it to anyone concerned about internet safety.

YourSafetynet home is the first parental control program that actually does what I expect from a product: Complete, easy to use and without any impact on the computer performance. The settings can be easily changed without the help of a user's manual, which is very important to me.

Furthermore the program is provided with an alarm button that takes a screenshot of bullying (e.g. Facebook, Chat, and Webcam) with just a single click of my children.

I can understand why this is the most successful parental control software in Europe. If I could give 6 stars ******, I would certainly!

5Excellent parentalcontrol software

I can't yet give it a 10, as I've only just installed the program and I don't yet know what we'll come up against. But so far I think it's fantastic, exactly what I was looking for! YourSafetynet is just the filter you need for protecting your children from all the malicious and risky websites that you can discover online. You are also able to prevent computer addiction with this program. One advantage is that you can set up all of the filters exactly as you wish.

Some virus scanners provide basic web filter functionality. This functionality may conflict with YourSafetynet. Disable these potentially conflicting features of your virus scanner. This is also recommended by the YourSafetynet installer during installation.
