4Seems like a very good anti virus/anti vandal program

I have had other PC computer protection programs but they seemed to always slow down the PC. I did a lot of research on anti virus/computer protection software. After a lot of reading reviews and ratings I narrowed the choices and decided on BITDEFENDER's 2011 Internet Security.

This program has anti virus protection AND firewall and other features like parental controls. Generally anti virus software is sold separately from the firewall and other featured items. However many companies do offer combo programs such as this one.

The purchase was typical amazon quality, very easy and very quick to download. I was concerned about the 1meg file size. Apparently that is some sort of auto/link to the actual installation. No complaints it worked well and was fairly fast.

After the software was set up I was up and running with virus protection and did a scan. I also went through and adjusted parental controls and some firewall settings. Everything seems fine and I feel adequately protected.

not knowing how the future will play out with potential virus and other problems, I can say for now the software seems fine. I have no complaints as of yet and would recommend this. Do your research and find which utility seems to work for you. Like I said there were a few I considered and wound up narrowing it down to BITDEFENDER.

BTW I bought the 1 PC with 3 year coverage.
